RESUMO
Nos proponemos delinear encuentros posibles de intervención psicoanalítica en el campo de la oncología a través de la participación en un equipo de cuidados paliativos. Nuestra idea central será que no hay encuentros sino en los desencuentros, y desde allí, intentaremos ubicarlos a dichos desencuentros en fundamentalmente dos sitios: entre una medicina curativa y otra paliativa, y entre el psicoanálisis y la medicina. Creemos que dichos desencuentros serán la apertura para una práctica analítica posible sobre el equipo tratante, así también como sobre el paciente del Servicio de Oncología
This article aims to set the possible encounters of psychoanalitical interventions inside a Department of Oncology by integrating a Palliative Care Unit. Our main idea will be that there are no possible encounters, but between the divergences, and from there, we will try to locate those divergences, mostly in two places: between a medicine which aims to heal and a palliative medicine, and between psychoanalysis and medicine. We think that those divergences could be the opportunity for a possible psychoanalytical practice upon the treating team, as well as on the patient of the Department of Oncology

The World Health Organization estimated that, by 2001, 450 million people suffered from a mental disorder. But of all of them, only a small minority received treatment, partly due to stigma. That is why the report urges the realization of education campaigns regarding the topic of stigma, and its combat. The present article makes an historical approach of stigma that aims to show its beginnings, its course, and its current situation. From there, we propose some thoughts trying to find a way to explain its nature, and maybe to begin disassembling it. We see how it was present towards madness since before the birth of psychiatry, and how with this advent, the lights of knowledge reduced the obscurantism of the pre-medical period. We see today how it is still active, expressing itself in daily comments, and even in some expressions that are supposed to be artistic. The question that appears at alltimes is: how can we get out of the current state? We hope that our work brings us a glimpse of response.
